This is the seventeenth book in the series， and maybe one of the funniest from Greg’s point of view。 Rodrick and his band are trying to make it big and are competing the Battle of the Bands。 Greg has decided he is going to document their rise to fame！

I wasn’t expecting the book to focus almost entirely on Rodrick with very little Greg， but after fifteen years of these books， it makes sense。 Not exactly what I read Wimpy Kid for， but still fun， and I liked the kids at the bar mitzvah going crazy for the band。

Dear Jeff Kinney，I love this series。 I will buy this book for myself and kids and I 100% know the reasoning behind the title spelling。 But did you really need to punish librarians， booksellers， and parents who will try to search for the book in library catalogs and databases？！？
